#BAFact: Today is the 104th anniversary of the Tunguska Event: an asteroid impact over Russia.
On June 30, 1908, a chunk of cosmic debris about the size of an office building slammed into the Earth's atmosphere and detonated over Russia. Now known as the Tunguska Event, it was the largest asteroid impact in modern history.
