Proud to be an Episcopalian

While it's not formally [whisper] marriage [/whisper] by name, it's something very important.  And it's certainly not a matter on which the church has "turned on a dime" but has given quite a bit of time in consideration and discernment (and plenty for those who simply cannot stand it to depart, as many have).

Well done, those at General Convention. I wish I could have been there.

    1. I’m not proud it’s taken so long — though I appreciate the desire to give people time to discern and decide, it was an ongoing injustice. That said, it’s a step forward.
