Hey, we missed the One Year Anniversary of DDtC on 17 July. Happy Annual to Me!
Some more serious thoughts on the podcast and its future can be found at the end. Please comment on my blog if you have any feedback.
The podcast playback button is at the bottom of the post. The covers below are for the issues I gave an individual review of; hover over the covers below to see the ratings out of 5 stars (with an occasional added comment).

Again, be sure to listen to the end of the podcast, and give me your feedback, unless you have none (which, in and of itself, would be feedback).
When does King-Size Dave Does the Comics #1 come out?
That’s Giant-Size DDtC, please!
Yes, after hearing the surprise announcement, I realized it would be more like the quarterly Giant-Size issues than the Annuals. But will you have back-up “stories”?
😉

Dude, go and give Dave’s podcast a positive review on iTunes. 🙂
Once a month for things you find to be worth mentioning would be perfectly fine as far as I am concerned.
Personally I am amazed at all of the things you do review, granted most of it is not my cuppa, but no worries I still find things in the podcast that I mark as worth picking up. I would say keep the named catagories that you have already and if there are more than one (say 3 kid friendly ones for example) pop up, just give them your review.
Another thing you could since if you go monthly is to focus more on the artists or writers (like you did with Ennis this time).
As to the best series out there that you are not reading, 20th Century Boys is r0xx0r.
@BD – Thanks, sir. Thinking that’s the direction I’ll go — which means I’ll probably end up doing a 30 minute podcast once a month, rather than a 15-ish minute one weekly. But more comments are welcome.
Also — really? With volume 22 coming out in September? Really?
I listen as it comes out and it’s been (mostly spoiler-free) a great way to stay a bit current and on top of storylines I’ve been away from (in years in many cases) but am interested in at least in abstract. That said, I also used your blogathon reviews as a great way to spend money on trade paperbacks and the like when I have the funds. I’d love to see (okay, “hear”) you do something a little more like that – maybe some “retrospective” issues of DDtC with, “Greatest Hits” of TPBs you’d encourage others to read from the past, ones that put a new spin on current events, and kind of build a relationship with those years of comics you’ve enjoyed.
Hmm – my reply vanished.
I like your idea of more retrospective work, and Kirby knows I’ve got a lot of TPBs I could do. In fact, one of the problems with my current time pressure feelings is not feeling I have time to enjoy those old books.
