Actually, Margie commented on the rather ugly gray jackets some (?) of the athletes have. And I had already noted that the uniforms this year were much less Star-Spangled Bannery (particularly noticeable during flashbacks of other US gymnastic teams).
So the general observation is a correct one, even if the implications of poor patriotism and all that are, typically, asinine.
