Things the Democrats ran on in 2008

Little things lilke habeus corpus and closing Gitmo and warrantless wiretapping and the like.

"It's hard to remember now, but Democrats really did used to talk about that stuff a lot."

Some of us still do.  And we wish that if our own candidate weren't so much of a problem, there'd be any hint or indication that his main competitor would do better in this arena.  

But there's not. Which makes this a sad choice indeed.

  1. Yes, it is sadly amazing what happens when you keep going to the right to appease our useless press and the pointless so called “independents”.

    Truely that is the Democratic Party’s one major failure, to counter attack the GOP and the GOP captured press’ messages the way that the GOP does. Attack, attack, attack, call the press liers, call them pawns of the GOP, abuse and cow them just like the GOP has, and most importantly keep the framing of the message about how the Left and the Right view America differently and spin it as a possitive.
