While it still seems it's true that AEMH is ending with Season 2 (sort of), what I hadn't realized is that we've not seen all of Season 2.
Through a wild coincidence, we just finished catching up on a backlog on the DVR of AEMH, and I thought it all ended with the bit Ultron battle. But that's only episode 16 of a 26-episode season. Per the below (SPOILERS!) we still have ten more episodes, starting with one airing this Sunday ("Yellowjacket" — which helps explain, for those of us who know our Avengers lore, why Hank Pym has been absent for so long — and is appropriate post-Ultron attack).
I've really enjoyed this series encompassing such huge swathes of classic Avengers territory. I'll be sorry to see it replaced next year with "Avengers Assemble," which will feature a more movie-aligned cast … except that apparently Marvel is considering that cartoon an extension of the current one in some fashion, which will be interesting to see.
Regardless — new Avengers cartoons! Starting Sunday! Woot! Assemble!
