Face Off finale

We finally got around to watching the season 3 finale of "Face Off," which is Syfy's reality / competition show focused on SFX makeup.  It was a fun season on a show all three of us enjoy, with a generally likeable set of competitors.  I thought the two-episode finale was a bit much (I'd have rather seen a single 90 minute finale if they wanted to pad in some retrospective and spectacle), but I thought the overall winner was a good pick (even if it was a popularity contest).

(SPOILER ALERT: if you haven't seen the finale, the winner is on the front page of the site below).

What I found a little surprising is how much overlap there is in the production.  The finale, broadcast the day before and day of Halloween, live (with voting by viewers), also include previews for season 4 which appears to already be in filming progress and will be shown starting in January.

Anyway, it's a fun show (about the only thing I watch on Syfy), which I recommend to you when it returns.
