What could be more enchanting to a J.R.R. Tolkien fan than hearty meals which evoke the rustic grandeur of The Shire?

This isn’t as funny as it sounded to the eight-year-olds sitting at the table the other night (i.e., my wife, two grown kids, daughter’s boyfriend, and me), but we had a grand time (i.e., rolled on the floor in uncontrollable laughter) with the Denny’s Tolkien menu. The best creation was “The Balrog” but we couldn’t decide if its tagline should be “It shall not pass!” or “Runs, you fools!”
Did I mention we’re eight?
