On one hand, I understand why some of the schools are doing this, but they're going WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overboard on this, the "Saving people by throwing a pretend grenade at a box full of evil and getting suspended" example being a perfect case in point.
I remember my grade school principal donning his snowmobile helmet and inviting all of us third-graders to attack him in a snowball fight. It was epic!
That just wouldn't happen today.
The whole fake grenade is looking like it was false reporting as well, only kept alive by rightwing crazies on AM radio.
