I confess there are times when I get horribly, horribly weary of real-world problems and conflicts and politics and name-calling. I get most tired of the Other Side and their lies and provocations and bald-faced grabs at power. I get tired of My Side and their elevation of everything to crisis level, even if it requires shading the truth, and even if it means providing cover for some unsavoy acts of their own. I just want to be quit of it.
And then I think, maybe that's just what they want ….
