In addition to our cameras, I had my mobile phone with me. I regularly forgot to use it at potentially useful moments, so the number of pics from it is in the dozens, vs. the several thousand we took with our (dedicated) cameras, which will need a fair amount of curation and editing out. Hopefully this will tide you over until I get get that particular task done.

This really is a tiny, even unrepresentative sample. I had a camera in my hand almost the entire trip, or at minimum in a pocket on my vest, and was taking pictures pretty continuously. I only remembered my mobile at stray moments, and the lack of optical zoom limited what I could do with it.
Still, better than nothing for now. Looking forward to the bunches of photos to come.
These are great Dave-looks like an amazing location-
These are scattered among four (or five) amazing locations: Chobe NP in Botswana, near the Moreni Reserve in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Kafue NP in Zambia, and Hwange NP in Zimbabwe, along with some Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. A remarkable meta-area, though.
I was hoping you’d post some pictures of this trip. They are wonderful. I enjoyed looking at them and you all look so happy to be there!
There are many (many) more to come.
The other side of the world – awesome stuff
