Sorry to hear about Cal Worthington's passing. Well, to be honest, if I'd thought about it, I'd have guessed he was dead already. Regardless, his "Go see Cal!" commercials were a staple on TV when I was growing in in LA — usually on the indie stations like 5 and 9 and 11 and 13.
I'd had no idea he was a decorated B-17 pilot during WWII (which he talks about more here: Cal Worthington Talks About WW2 at the Aerospace Museum of California)
