Part of this weekend's tasks were a big clean-up of the side yard. We've had a woodpile here for 15-odd years, and it was taking up about twice this footprint and had a tarp that was about 3/4 gone.
Some restacking, some reclaiming of naturally-formed mulch on the concrete, a new tarp, and, hey-presto, set for the winter and room for the outside trash cans.
Okay, not impressive to anyone who didn't see the "before" picture (which I did not actually take), but I'm pretty proud of it.
Plenty to do in the spring, including getting rid of some excess, low-grade kindling (mostly the stuff that's exposed, old juniper bits), and doing something about the Huge Pile of Pebbles we salvaged from the old front yard a dozen years ago.
My life is chaotic. It's nice to bring occasional order to it.
