The great inconvenience of new books is that they prevent us from reading the old ones.
I have often thought this. I want to reread all my favorites, but the stacks of unread books make me feel guilty when I do.

Yuppers. It gets even worse when you're an OCD reader like me, and have to read series from Book 1 to Book X-1 before you dive into the just-released Book X.
