Robocop Redux

Okay, I'll admit, this doesn't look too bad.  Of course, I enjoyed the original, too, though this one looks to be playing it much more straight.

I have to admit, as far as remakes go this looks to have some potential. It appears to take some of the ideas in the original film and mixes them with some new ones. It's also interesting that this Robocop appears to be closer to what they wanted to do in the original in terms of it being quick and agile. Something that couldn't be done with the original costume which is why Weller's performance is much more robotic.
