Kay has been jonesing for us to see this movie with her. So we did (that's gotta be worth a couple of B5 episodes, right?). And, actually, it turned out better than I thought, with most of the frenetic pacing and face-slapping goofiness balanced by some genuine poignancy and some really nice visuals.

“Epic” is … not. The first short trailer made it look kinda cool, but the extended trailer made it look tedious and annoying.
@BD – I don’t recall the trailers, but I could imagine both.
If I remember correctly, the only part that Mary and laughed hard at was the Fruit Fly ageing.
