Also known as "Tom Cruise is in a sci-fi adventure where he learns an incredible secret that changes his view of everything, and everyone's lives depend on him doing the right thing."
That said … yeah, it looks pretty well done for all that.

This looks very intriguing.
my only problem with the film is Cruise. haven't been a fan of his for awhile, although he did slightly redeem himself in Oblivion.
Also, aside from flashing the words Live, Die, Repeat throughout the trailer, the synopsis isn't really put out there. If I hadn't read the synopsis, I wouldn't know what was going on.
IMO, the studio needs to correct this marketing blunder. The hook is the Groundhog-Day-stylings of Cruise going from noob to combat vet while trapped in the loop. Lose that and it's just another sci-fi movie with fancy armor.
Is there any month that doesn't have a Tom Cruise blockbuster coming out? Because if there's one Hollywood guy who is overexposed, it's him.
I'm disappointed that this is a Cruise film but the book is very enjoyable, nothing deep but enjoyable, so hopefully the film will manage the same thing. The trailer certainly looks quite fun.
