Silmarillion envisioned

A neat project by Andrew Diaz of "Dresden Codak" fame. Having just finished The Silmarillion, I appreciate his vision (even where I don't neccessarily agree with it).  I'm not sanguine about an HBO series, but I'd definitely go for an illustrated version of the book.

  1. +Gary Roth I think it could be "mangled" either way. Consider movies based on Greek myths — the wide quality in adaptations of the character (and tales of) Hercules, for example. (Which comes to mind because I saw an ad last night on TV for a truly awful-looking Hercules coming to movie theaters.)
