My only concern is that the standards be crystal clear. Having gone through exercises where we tried to figure out whether people were exempt or non-exempt employee, it can be more than a little difficult, even trying to do the right thing.
Expanding Overtime Rules
By and large, I'm more than happy with this. The current rules under the FLSA are set way too low in salary ($24K) and for hourly staff let a company use any minor amount of supervision time as a way to exempt folks.
