Went to the 2014 Colorado Renaissance Festival (http://coloradorenaissance.com/) yesterday with +Margie Kleerup and +Kay Hill (as well as +Stan Pedzick and +Mary Oswell). It's been years since the family went (2002), and we had a great time, picked up some swag, enjoyed the shows, and etc. etc. etc.
The weather was also a big advantage — warm, but not hot, with frequent overcast helping the tree cover at the faire. It was one of those rare visits where I didn't feel pity for the folks in full costume and armor.
The Colorado RenFest runs until early August. Huzzah!
