Incident at Barcelona Airport caught on video. An UTair Boeing 767-300 was just about to land at Barcelona Airport when an Aerolineas Argentinas A340-300 crossed the runway just in front of the landing aircraft. Pilots of the landing UTair flight noticed what was about to happen and performed a go around to avoid collision.

That's one of the things I adore about DIA's layout. Nobody ever crosses a runway to get to/from the gate.
The closest you can get is on the east side, where there's a section that remains clear while an aircraft lands on the R runway. If there were an aircraft of any size in that zone, there wouldn't be a collision, it's just a safety buffer in the unlikely event that a plane were to land short on the R runway while another plane were taxiing to take off on the L runway.
+Jonathon Barton That's a great bit of trivia — thanks!
