Really? Seven years on, and it's time for a reboot?

Of course, this tale has had previous cinematic incarnations (1964's very scary The Last Man on Earth, and 1971's Hestonriffic Omega Man), so yet another remake of Richard Matheson's tale isn't all that surprising. Just … so soon?

Considering how bad the last one was I would think they'd let it lay dormant for a bit longer. Those vamps were cheesy as fuck.
