I'm a registered Democrat, so I get emails. Lots of emails. Emails begging, threatening, then begging again for donations to the electoral cause.
But I also follow along some odd Right-wing newsletters (great source material), I end up getting very, very similar emails from various Republican groups, also begging, threatening, and begging again for donations to the electoral cause.
It's sometimes amusing. More often not.
Don't get me wrong — yeah, I really do think this election (at least as much as any other) is important, and both my vote and some strategic donations will be my role in helping the side I'm least displeased with win. But getting the donation dunning from both sides of the spectrum — almost acts like white noise, canceling out the claims of Utter Disaster if Those Guys End Up with a Majority.
I do have to say I'm looking forward to November. And not looking forward to the immediate shift to full-time presidential campaigning.

I kind of missed the rest of the "multi-media" part.
I manage to miss most of the TV ads by watching by DVR and skipping ads as much as possible. And I don't listen to commercial radio.
On the other hand, I have a telephone book worth of campaign literature in my mailbox every day these days. And we get at least four or five calls every night (screened and not picked up, but on those rare occasions we do, it's inevitably a political request or a survey.
