In case you're not yet tired of my nattering on about it, here's a video shot from the stands of the Colorado state finals show by Arapahoe High School last Saturday. A few problems with the sound system, but overall the show went great, and it netted them a season-high score of 80.15 for 5th place, less than a 2/3 of a point below the 4th place band.
+Kay Hill is in there playing the flute, generally audience left, but it's awfully hard to spot her moving around amidst the other blond flute players with their hair up in buns, let alone once they get shakos on their heads.
As a "credits sequence" special bonus (?), you can actually spot me after the show in my yellow boosters shirt and black-and-yellow cap, gathering up cables and wheeling the left-hand speaker away (holding up the front wheels so it didn't dig ruts into the astroturf). Margie's off far right, wrangling one of the microphones.
No end of routine fatigue here. A great performance! You peaked at just the right time. You should be very proud of yourselves. Congratulations!
