If TV adaptations of comic books have challenges, even more rare are good comic book adaptations of TV series. This comic completes the loop, and does so in a surprisingly satisfying fashion, incorporating both (some of) the TV cast — particularly Phil Coulson — and fitting them into the Marvel Universe in an unforced and enjoyable way. Well done, at least as a first issue.

Is the art inside as bad as the cover art? Yeesh.
The interior artist is different.
And much better.
(And I agree, +Brittany Constable — an unfortunate art choice indeed.)
In fact, part of what I liked about the comic is that it was much more integrated into the MU than the TV series, including SHIELD jump suits rather than mufti like on the cover.
Perhaps one of the variant cover is more to your liking?

Favorite line: "It was his first day."
I like the Asrar one. And the Deadpool/wall one is amusing.
