  2. +Mark Means I do think, to some degree, that it is both a matter of companies intentional targeting a "centerfold" demographic and, in turn, favoring artists that draw that way, including ones known for their "erotic art" or for doing swipes from pornos in drawing their female characters.

    It's not universal, to be true; there are a lot of artists out there who don't go to these, um, extremes. But there are still plenty of them.
