At least I was able to make him laugh while getting his autograph. Small repayment for the many, many hours of entertainment he provided, but it was something.
One of my favorite "performances" was his automotive commercial; he's talking to Zach Q. on the phone, and at some point says "Remind me to teach you the hobbit song…you'll get requests."
