When we found out that Scottish The Thick Of It star Peter Capaldi was to be the next Doctor Who, we did wonder how much of foul mouthed Malcolm Tucker he
Show doesn’t scan well with viewers.
They change the formula to the one that *does* scan with viewers, and has been scanning well for the last 7 of the last 8 seasons, instead of the ‘darker Doctor’ everyone asked for and didn’t actually like very much.
