Hunter and Mockingbird to spin off of "Agents of SHIELD"?

An interesting idea. The uber-competent husband-and-wife (or ex) vibe could work well, with the right stories to push them together (and pull them apart), and I've enjoyed both of their work on MAoS, but the idea of running it in parallel to the mother show sounds like it's pushing the audience a bit too far. 1. "Meh" is subjective. There are plenty of people who don't feel that way, and that can make this a good move for the studio and network.

I find reality shows to be less than "meh." that does not mean that they aren't cash cows for those who make them.

  2. +Stan Pedzick I actually think they are likely to do better running solo than as part of a large team. While I've found the broadening of the MAoS umbrella to have some positive aspects, it's also crowded out more in-depth stories, to the detriment of most folk who are not Skye.

  3. I rather like the format of Agent Carter and the Netflix shows — limited episodes, a closed storyline. If they go that route with Bobbi and Hunter (or even a FitzSimmons limited series), I could get behind it.
