Which actually makes me think of the Jetsons' robot, Rosie, but it's a title used for Supergirl, back in the day.
Anyway, a Supergirl series will be running on CBS in the autumn, huzzah. Part of what I found amusing in the article was the debate at CBS about where to put the show, what night, what to lead in with, what to have air after it …
And I'm going, Oh, do people still watch TV live and pay attention to what's coming up next? What is this, 1975?

‘Supergirl’ Ordered to Series at CBS
Executive producer Greg Berlanti will have dramas on three of the five broadcast networks next season.
So if Supergirl is on CBS rather than the CW, does that mean it won't be in the same canon/setting as Arrow and The Flash?
+Isaac Sher A very interesting question. Will the DC / Warners IP ownership trump the network barriers? Stay tuned …
+Isaac Sher that depends entirely on how the contract is written. Smallville was under a LOT of constraints and limitations because of the limited use of the character that was allowed by the contracting. Since Supergirl has the name and the suit, we can assume that some latitude will be allowed in the storytelling….BUT, Arrow is on a different network altogether, so there will probably not be any continuity.
Other than an occasional sports broadcast, I don’t recall the last time I watched something that wasn’t streamed. I will, however, be looking forward to when this hits HuluPlus.
