If pants or shirt show creases after I unpackage / pin them at home, I usually throw them into the wash. I never thought about dye residues and other chemicals, or issues with other people who have might have tried them on before me. Hmmm.

I don't even care.
To me, once clothes are washed, they are no longer really new.
Of course, my grandmother would always mention when I wore something new, “Why are you wearing your new shirt already?” like that wasn’t the point of buying something new.
