I'm not sure Claremont — home of the Claremont Colleges and my own alma mater — actually needs a tourist video, and the near-lack of anything about the campus (aside from one non-academic shot on Marston Quad) is a bit odd … but it's still fun, in a surrealistic fashion.

The thing about this whole Wes Anderson thing is that they seem to have overlooked the satirical tone of nearly everything he does. 🙂
+Yi Shun Lai Yeah, there's an odd tone tone to this that feels like it's mocking itself, which is a bit discomfiting.
Also … I don't remember any marching bands, Music Man style, marching through Clareville, though it's been a few years …
+Dave Hill the band gets to march through once, on the 4th of July, I think. I mean, what is this, the Music Man? In which case, STILL the wrong tone. Oh, Madison Avenue.
+Yi Shun Lai We love the Junior and High School Bands. There are marching bands in The Village for Home Coming and Village Venture, as well as July 4th!
+Maggie Tupman good point! How could I forget the Village Venture? Or Homecoming, for that matter? Wolfpack forever.
