This is probably the most negative article I've seen to date on Win10, and even it just says "Wait a few updates for things to gel." Which, honestly, was my plan already.
That said, the main drawbacks mentioned — unfinished desktop apps — aren't of any concern to me; all the stuff mentioned are items I already use browser apps for (most, though not all, from Google).

Windows 10 is what Windows 8 should have been, but it has too many rough edges to attract Windows 7 users. Continuous upgrades could change that as early as this fall

I upgraded my tertiary home machine, just to get an idea of what's going on with it.
I upgraded a secondary machine last night and played for a few hours. Seems polished enough for me.
I have it on a VM, but I'm going to wait a bit to upgrade my workhorse machines.
Over the years I've learned never to install a version lower than 1.5.
