Apparently, in the workplace, what's comfortable for men, both metabolism-wise and clothing-wise. Which is why you see so many women wearing sweaters, even in the summer, in some offices, and so many women in colder climes end up with space heaters under their desks.
What's interesting is the realization that this is seen as a "women's thing" — that (as occurred in this article here) it's up to women to cope with it: wear a sweater, or wear heavier clothing, or whatever. The idea that we might raise the office temp a little bit and have men wear different clothing and the like to cope with it … well, that's just crazy-talk.
