  1. +Oscar De Santiago He is, at the very least, a dolt, and played for stupid comic relief. Which is not a relief.

    +zach vander berg While not thinking it's the greatest thing since sliced flarn, I think Abrams' ST reboot has been suitably entertaining, at least as much as most of the TOS or TNG movies were.

    +adam jensen If you are referring to Eps 1-3, agreed. If you are referring to Eps 4-6, while certainly not flawless, I think they have some decent themes and charm.

  2. +Oscar De Santiago It's certainly a matter of taste, and a balancing act at that. Jar Jar, to my taste, was far too broadly slapstick, and too plot-altering in his idiocy.

    (Leaving aside questions raised about whether he, and the Gungans as a whole, are sort of racist.)
