That seems to be the underling (and not all that under) meme behind a lot of the attacks on Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. The idea that the women who choose an abortion in their particular circumstance have considered what they are doing and are making an adult and informed decision seem to be … completely unfathomable for some.

Underlying. And if women would just learn that playing with boys give them cooties we wouldn’t need all that doofy grown up stuff.
Not to mention that people like Rubio and his ilk would do absolutely nothing but shame the slut who got pregnant and was going to give away her baby for the last six months of pregnancy for not having done so in a stable God-sanctioned relationship.

There are reasons that young women of my generation used to go "visit relatives" for a year if they got pregnant out of wedlock. The shaming of a young unmarried pregnant woman and her family was horrendous, and to some conservatives, that impulse is still there.
