The GOP can't decide whether to use reconciliation to slip something through the Senate that gets rid of just some ACA provisions, as the Far Right hardliners are insisting that they try to use the tactic to get rid of the whole Act or else they won't support the effort. The super-zany are pounding their shoes on the table insisting that the just-average-zany aren't being zany enough.

Its nice to know that the Right has started to enter the ‘Purity’ arena too long dominated by the left. I was a Union activist for about 10 years, and the most frustrating thing was always the Purists would rather fight on ground that was 100% what they wanted, but couldn’t be won, rather than take what they could. No fall back position, no start at 100% and give ground grudgingly.
Hopefully this will happen in the UK too: cracks are already beginning to appear.
