As part of the pre-"The Force Awakens" prep, +Kay Hill and I rewatched the first of the original trilogy. Result: lots of fun, 3.5/5 stars.

I'm sorry, but did you credit John Barry as composer in your review?
Ya know, I had forgotten the original poster had Luke showing off his bare chest while Leia revealed a whole lot of leg. Wonder how many people were disappointed that the marketing wasn't entirely accurate.
+Scott Randel Egad. So I did. Probably got a wire crossed from mentioning Barry earlier in the day regarding The Black Hole.
+Marty Shaw Yeah, I intentionally included that poster because it was … um … not quite that.
At the time I had (on wall and on t-shirt) the Hildebrandt poster (http://goo.gl/oinEv), which had the same motif but was done more nicely. Hmmm … wonder if I still have that poster, as it appears to be pretty highly priced right now.
My preference is the Struzan (http://goo.gl/OxJ9i3).
Yeah, the Struzan poster is more faithful to the movie. That other image is cool but it always made me think of the old pulp covers for Tarzan, the Gor novels, and other similar tales.
Guess that might have been the audience they were going for since I don't think there were a whole lot of sci-fi fans back then, unless you count fans of Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon.
You can't go wrong with Drew Struzan.
