Maybe it's genetic, though, because neither my brother nor I were adverse to crusts, nor was my daughter.
And, heck, if I had told my mom I wanted her to cut the crusts off of bread, she'd have told me (1) I can pick them off myself if I choose to, and (2) then I can eat them anyway because we don't waste food.

Yeah, that was just one of those things I never understood. Kids at school would have sandwiches with the crusts cut off and I would ask them why they had done that, and they would tell me how gross the crusts were. Like I said it made no sense to me.
And as the years have grown, I've come to love bread crusts even more. 🙂
