+Satyr Icon Honestly, I don't see it so much as contempt as simple ignorance-drive enthusiasm. "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if we could …?" sort of bits, focusing on the good possibilities while ignoring or refusing to consider the bad ones.
That isn't necessarily any better, but I doubt it's driven by ill will.
I have five Facebook friends. I'm not interested in adding people who shop at the same stores I do.
