– Lucifer S2 – Missing a bit of the bright, edgy new-ness of S1, but still fun. I'm not sure about tweaking the Christianesque mythos as they seem to be doing this season, but I'll be curious to see where they go. The characters are certainly as fun as they were, and the newly arranged configuration of them is different but, potentially, just as fun.
– Marvel's Agents of SHIELD S4 – I have to say, this is probably the best season opener of the series. The "band" is broken up, SHIELD is shrouded in secrecy, paranoia is rampant, and everyone's involved in secrets, secrets, secrets. Oh, and Ghost Rider (in a muscle car rather than a motorcycle).
I don't expect I'll be doing this for every new show restarting, but things are off to a good start.

Ugh! Haven't started new shows yet, although Tricia Hefler is a definite reason to tuning in to Lucifer. Never watched Prison Break when it was on before but learned a very belated Season 5 is on the horizon so most free time is going to binge-watching that show to catch up. Yes, I'm just a bit behind the times.
+Marty S. We're still trying to catch up with Daredevil S2 before Luke Cage drops. And there are these vague plans to try to finish Stranger Things S1. Oh, and there's the Babylon 5 rewatch I'm trying to push through …
I do like the character. He gets so disappointed when he doesn't get to give folk their just deserts.
I look forward to Luke Cage as well. He really got messed up with in JJ s1!
I didn't read All-New Ghost Rider, so I was unfamiliar with this version of the character. Apparently he does drive a car (so why is he called Ghost Rider?). Also, he's no longer a spirit of vengeance, but the show seems to have kept that aspect of the original Ghost Rider, along with (thank goodness) the flaming skull (the new guy has a sort of flaming helmet – very ugly, I think – see pic below).

+Scott Randel I read the first TPB of that version. I found it hard to get into as well.
Okay am I the only one who thinks that's the most dumb tagline ever!
+Dawson Furnish Which tagline is that?
+Scott Randel Yeah, I have never been a big GR fan, so I simply assumed the variations from what I knew about the character were due to normal MAoS tweaking. Whatever, it didn't particularly bother me, and I thought the flaming skull effect was pretty nicely done.
This being MAoS, I have no idea if this season is going to be all-Ghost Rider, all the time, or if he vanishes in episode 3. I'm more interested in the internal SHIELD paranoia and how that's going to play out for our band of agents.
My bet is that they'll have a hard job explaining GR.
"My inhuman power is that I channel a vengeance demon," maybe?. After all, we are introducing magic into the MCU with Doctor Strange.
Yes, I'm sure that's not a coincidence either.
+Laura Ess And, if played right, that's a Good Thing. MAoS has never quite had the integration to the movie stuff that it's needed, except the fall-out of SHIELD's destruction in Winter Soldier. If they can play with that effectively, it should help the show.
There was also fallout after the first Avengers film as well. A couple of believers retrieve an object similar to Loki's staff. Now, what if there was fallout from DEADPOOL! 😛
Nah, wouldn't happen because DP's X-men universe.
They did mention Ultron in the season premiere.
They haven't started showing it in Australia here, yet. We'll probably get the final season of Grimm about the same time as well.
+Scott Randel And Sokovia. And Sif has shown up once. But the actual plotline connections have been are thinner than expected, and certainly nothing like the 1st Season SHIELD/Hydra reveal. There are good reasons for that (shooting season logistics) and bad (in-house politics at Marvel), but those bonds have never been as tight as I would have liked them.
