Trump's son, Eric, says he's very proud of his father for not bringing up Bill Clinton's infidelities in response to Hillary Clinton's attacks on Trump's misogyny and sexism.
Eric Trump — the son of Trump and his first wife, Ivana, who was granted divorce after the Donald's adulterous affair with Marla Maples became public, ahem — says it shows real "courage" to decide not to raise the matter with Chelsea Clinton in the audience.
Which might be plausible or even admirable — if Trump hadn't made a point, in the debate, of trying to score points by saying he wasn't going to bring up something very "rough" — and if he hadn't gone on to talk about exactly what it was mere minutes after the debate in the press room — and if he and his proxies weren't busy speculating today as to whether the Donald would find an opportunity to bring the matter up at the next debate.
Waiting a quarter hour before making a "rough" attack doesn't net you "courage" points, Donald — your son's pride in you notwithstanding.
Eric Trump: It Took “Courage” For My Dad To Not Mention Bill Clinton’s Infidelity
“That was a big moment for me and probably will actually become — my life and this campaign — and probably will be something I’ll always remember,” Eric Trump said.
For the record, Chelsea Clinton (who is 36 years old) does not seem to need Donald's "courageous" restraint: http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/28/politics/chelsea-clinton-cosmopolitan-interview-trump/
Bwahahahaha! This is now the bar set for Trump.
Let me get this right. His response to a criticism of himself is to criticize someone who isn't running for president?
More like a modicum of self restraint. Which, for him, might be a real achievement.
+Kee Hinckley Yup. Just like his response to being accused of fat-shaming a Miss Universe contestant was … to justify why he had fat-shamed her by fat-shaming her some more.
