In my list of "path forward" (from yesterday's election) comments, I mentioned doing what it says in the headline as an important action if you have concerns over how Trump (and the GOP Congress) will impact women, immigrants, the poor, people of "other" religions, people of "other" races, people of "other" sexual orientations, etc. (not to mention little things like the environment).
Personal action is important. But sometimes structuring that action as volunteer time and simple donations where you can let's others already in the fray do more. Both local and national organization need help. The article (and the comments) list a lot of these.
