And because no spoilers, I will need to be brief.
1. Yes, this is the Star Wars movie I was looking for.
2. Seamlessly meshes into the overall saga while being a powerful story in its own right.
3. Wars and rebellions are not pretty things made of of glossy white plastic and noble, jocular heroes.
4. Michael Giacchino is a musical god.
5. It's 40 years since A New Hope. As a result, certain things were done. I am mulling those things over, but overall I think they were effective. Disturbing, but effective. More on that another time soon.
6. See it spoiler-freeish while you can, because Stuff Will Come Out pretty darned quickly. Regardless, see it, if you have any interest in Star Wars.
