You're watching the morning news shows again, aren't you, Donald?

► Thank you for the great rallies all across the country. Tremendous support. Make America Great Again! [1]
That one was from the 5th, but I didn't think it warranted its own post. It's great to see you have some supporters willing to come out and demonstrate in your favor. I was sorry to see some instances of counter-protesters clashing physically [2]; all that sort of thing does is encourage further suppression of dissent.

► 'President Trump Congratulates Exxon Mobil for Job-Creating Investment Program' [3] (with link to press release [4])
► Buy American & hire American are the principals at the core of my agenda, which is: JOBS, JOBS, JOBS! Thank you @exxonmobil. [5]
► 45,000 construction & manufacturing jobs in the U.S. Gulf Coast region. $20 billion investment. We are already winning again, America! [6]
Well, good to see Rex Tillerson has been good for something in your administration.[7]
► There is an incredible spirit of optimism sweeping the country right now—we're bringing back the JOBS! [9] (with video snippet)
But seriously, I guess that's all good news (if you want more refining and chemical processing plants), though only 12,000 of the jobs are expected to be permanent.[8] There's no real indication, though, from ExxonMobil's press that any of this has to do with some grand Trumpian economic plan or "agenda".
'Some of the expansions began in 2013, but the scope of the project is now growing and the timeline extended, Exxon said. […] The investments across Texas and Louisiana will take advantage of cheap shale gas to make plastics and other chemicals for export. The strategy builds on prior steps Exxon and peers, including Dow Chemical, have taken in the wake of the American shale expansion, which sharply cut production costs.'
So good employment news for the coming years, though not Trump-specific employment news.
► Buy American & hire American are the principles at the core of my agenda, which is: JOBS, JOBS, JOBS! Thank you @exxonmobil. [10]
► Thank you to @exxonmobil for your $20 billion investment that is creating more than 45,000 manufacturing & construction jobs in the USA! [11]
You're repeating yourself, Donald.

► 122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision! [12]
Oh, Donald, you've been watching Fox News again.
(Really, isn't it funny we don't get tweets after you have actual intelligence briefings with people who actually have the facts, but instead get your gut reaction to outrage headlines from Fox News? Don't you worry about being manipulated, Donald?)
The story is, not surprisingly, incorrect.
'But according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, 113 of the 122 former detainees who have re-engaged in terrorism were released before January 2009, when former President Barack Obama took office.' [13]
693 people have been released from Gitmo, 532 of them under Bush. They weren't let go from Gitmo because we were just tired of locking them up in cells. They were released because the government couldn't prove they had done anything wrong, and indefinitely holding people in cells was providing great propaganda for jihadists. [20] The Bush Administration's process for releasing and repatriating them was also less careful than Obama's, which led to a higher recidivism rate among those released.
I know the idea of indefinitely locking up "bad dudes" whether or not they've done anything wrong may be exciting, Donald, but that's not how the US likes to think it operates. And I know blaming the troubles of the world on your predecessor gives you a big giggle, Donald, but it's kind of childish.

► Our wonderful new Healthcare Bill is now out for review and negotiation. ObamaCare is a complete and total disaster – is imploding fast! [14]
Would that be the bill that basically cuts Medicaid, gets rid of the national risk pool, and really doesn't address the key items you kept saying you'd keep in your plan? You know, the key items that people actually like from the ACA (which makes me think it's not quite the "complete and total disaster" you keep calling it, Donald)?
Yeah, we'll chat more about that soon, Donald.
► Don't worry, getting rid of state lines, which will promote competition, will be in phase 2 & 3 of healthcare rollout. @foxandfriends [17]
Yes, it will promote plenty of competition to move businesses to the state with the weakest health insurance regulation. Yippee!
► I am working on a new system where there will be competition in the Drug Industry. Pricing for the American people will come way down! [18]
Will that be in phase 4 or phase 5? How many phases are we talking about here, Donald? What sort of timeline? How many people will fall through the gaps in a piecemeal process, Donald? I mean, when you need medical care, it's not like wanting a new limo to replace lasd year's dusty limo — you really do need it now. So how long do we have to wait for this keen new "Drug Industry Pricing" scheme, Donald?
People are dying to know.

► For eight years Russia "ran over" President Obama, got stronger and stronger, picked-off Crimea and added missiles. Weak! @foxandfriends [15]
So what would you have done, Donald? No, do tell. How would you have kept the Russians from annexing Crimea? What would you have done to keep them from "adding missiles" and getting "stronger and stronger"? I mean, sure you must have had some alternative plan that would have kept Putin meek and docile within his borders.
For that matter, presumably you have a plan for keeping him from annexing Estonia[16], and building still more missiles. Something other than blustering about your predecessor being weak.
Do tell, Donald. We're all ears.
Oh, and North Korea. Surely you have some cunning plans to be not "Weak!" there, too.

► Don't let the FAKE NEWS tell you that there is big infighting in the Trump Admin. We are getting along great, and getting major things done! [19]
Right. Why would anyone ever doubt that any organization that you've put together would operate as anything other than a fine, well-oiled machine, Donald?[21]

Personally I'm looking forward to California and other blue states suing the federal government for violating that 10th amendment when they are no longer allowed to regulate their insurance industry.
