You know, for someone who keeps saying that this is going to be an easy win for the Republicans, Donald, you've spent a lot of time tweeting about this election.

Yeah, he grew up in it, currently lives just outside of it while his girlfriend is in med school, and plans to move back as soon as she's done. This is not new news, Donald.[16]
Well, as it turns out, Donald, Osoff got a huge plurality of the votes, but not a majority, so he'll be running off against a GOP competitor in June. I'm sure we'll be hearing more about it from you then, Donald, esp. since some Dems are encouraged by how close he got (48%, higher than what they had been estimating), despite the fact that the previous GOP rep won the district by 24 points.[9]
Some even think you might be the issue here — Romney won that district by over 20 points in 2012, but you only one by 1 point. Are you sure you should be the person chiming in on Twitter in support of the GOP candidate?

'The group, formally known as "Mara Salvatrucha," or "gang of Salvadoran guys," was made up of immigrants, mostly young teenagers from El Salvador. They fled civil war, but learned quickly that they needed to protect themselves from other gangs that sprouted up in Los Angeles, such as rival the 18th Street Gang … The gang quickly assimilated into the street lifestyle that gripped urban America, complete with tattoos, hand signs, wearing certain colored clothing and learning how to recruit. But in 1996, the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act prompted the deportation of undocumented immigrants with rap sheets back to their native countries. As a result, these American-groomed gang members taught what they learned to abroad — and helped the gang to flourish internationally.'
The gang was was recognized as a growing threat by the FBI in the early 2000s — well before Obama — and the Feds formed an investigative task force in 2004. By 2008 (the year Obama was elected), the gang was all across the US. Obama designated it a transnational criminal group in 2012.
The interest here is that MS-13 creates a much more concrete bad guy in the immigration narrative than "bad hombres" or similar glib labels. And, honestly, I'm pretty sure nobody's going to object to the DoJ or DHS / ICE cracking down on these guys to kick them out of the country if they are here illegally (once they've served whatever time needed for any crimes they've committed).
But we're talking here about 6-10K gang members or so in the US, out of the millions of folk here illegally. And I'm pretty sure a lot of the folk we've been seeing being explicitly targeted and very publicly deported are not MS-13 members.[13] Implying that your illegal immigrant crackdown is all about evil criminal gangs is patently false.
But, hey, Donald, it made for a great day of headlines, amirite?
