There was a time, several years ago, when the Sci Fi Channel seemed determine to run from science fiction as a theme as well as by changing its name (reaching its nadir as a host for professional wrestling, which may seem like a clever take on fantasy, but really wasn't).
It's definitely changed course since then, and I'm glad to see them officially admitting it, and looking to be the focus point for SF/F genre stuff, both in media and in fandom communities.
