Trump has something of an obsession with IQ. My guess is that he took a "What's your IQ?" test in a magazine somewhere back in the 1970s, scored really high by luck on the 5-question quiz, and is positive that really means he's got a huge IQ?

I'm less concerned about his IQ than I am about his rather obvious "mommy problem". Strong and competent women "like the grandmother of his that started the real estate business on Long Island" get under his skin.
