The report’s authors include “experts from leading scientific agencies, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NASA and the Department of Energy, as well as academic scientists.”
The results are what one would expect from actual scientists studying the field (as opposed, say, to the US President and the head of the EPA).
Not that it will make that much difference. Per the law passed by Congress, the report has been officially submitted to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. That head of that office has not yet been appointed by Donald Trump, and, for all we know, never will be. Because why have someone advising the White House on science and technology when the guy sitting in the Oval Office figures he already has all the answers he wants to have?
