Latest Roy Moore defense: there are plenty of teens who AREN’T accusing him

“We need to make it clear that there’s a group of non-accusers, that have not accused the judge of any sexual misconduct or anything illegal,” explains one of Moore’s campaign spokespeople on CNN.

Yes, Jane Porter, Roy Moore spokesperson, is setting the bar of proof at “Well, if not every 14-year old in reach of Roy Moore at the time is accusing him of hitting on her, playing underwear games with her, etc., then clearly he must be innocent.”

Of course, why should Moore care whether his spokesfolk are coherent? He has the Republican Party financially back behind him again, as they’ve concluded that having even an accused molester like Moore hanging out at their Senate cocktail parties and eyeing their grandchildren is better than having anotehr (gasp!) Democrat in Congress.

Many Women Were Never Molested As Children by Roy Moore, Spokesperson Says
Finally, some much-needed balance to the story.

  1. Wait — is she saying that there are people who say Moore didn’t molest them personally?

Or is she saying that there are teens Moore was involved with who do not wish to complain?

  2. OK so his defense is that there are girls and women whom he has never molested? Those must be girls and women who never met him. I've never met him but I'm outraged by these statements. He's pathetic!

  3. There is a difference when you're 22 yrs old and a perv strikes and when you're a young child 14-17 yrs old To those of you who continue to think this is ok; look at your daughters and granddaughters and ask yourself what if that happened to them; would you turn away. If yes you're a fucking waste to the world like the bitch above.

  4. +Mike D They are fucked! I wish Trump would just go berserk on them lefties… God knows what a good thing it is that I'm not in the position because I would have proudly thrown all sense of intelligence out the window, put on my best PMS hat and screamed "TOWANDA" on all their satan worshipping child molesting asses!!! God bless America and God Bless the house of Trump!!!

  5. +Tom Smeal So is that not Jane Porter? Just a fake stand-in for her? Or is Jane Porter not actually a Roy Moore spokesperson? Or were words dubbed into what she says in the clip in the article?

Or are you just repeating what you've been told?

  6. The world would most definitely be a better place if every single person focused less on sex, sexual activity, and sexual desires.

Really wish we only had sex with the explicit intention of creating a child and nothing more.

  7. +Tina Shay Wow. Pizzagater, anti-vaxxer, Las Vegas truther, Illuminati conspiracist, Lord Monckton shill, how to EMP-proof your car … I do believe you have already "thrown all sense of intelligence out the window". Aloha.

  8. This is disgusting. This creep needs to be kicked to the wayside. I'm from Alabama. I can tell you that I have yet to see a single Roy Moore sign in a yard. Hopefully his political career will be over soon. I just hope justice is served but something tells me it won't be.

  9. +Tom Smeal Because (a) it's an unfounded assertion, and (b) has nothing to do with the post, unless you're making one of the accusations I outlined for you.

But do go on repeating it — I'm sure your underlying code will have a quippy but repetitive response.

  10. So many little girls, so little time! Is that the lament? AL is a very sad state. That they are going to elect a man with Roy Moore's propensities to the senate says more about the people of AL than it does about Moore.

  11. +Dave Hill
    Huh..
I can't see his comment and it is such a new account I don't have him blocked and I can go to his profile page.. So I'm not blocked.
A little method to madness here. I figure bots won't see their mention since I didn't ping them with a plus. Humans might respond to me calling them bots.
Unless they have a keeper reading through.

  12. Simply irrational, supporting a child molester and a serial abuser of women to become a moronic President. Shows how low many Republicans have fallen to fallow a tribalism platform. Stupidity.

  13. Yup Alabama. Will let people get away with despicable and heinous acts if they are white and ‘Christian’. This guy is a predator. Stick him in jail like you do with all predators.

  14. This is the typical tactic used throughout Trumps campaign and now it seems all bone headed Republicans have adopted the ‘What about this/that’ argument that basically side steps the original issue by directing to another issue. It’s an easy tactic and works with idiots. And Russian Facebook hacks have used this tactic in all the anti-democratic trolls they spew out regularly to feast and manipulate on those easily persuaded.

  15. +Marcus Goosby Moore has not been accused of nonconsensual intercourse. He has been accused of non-intercourse sexual activity with a 14yo, which is under Alabma's age of consent, as well as dating and kissing some young women at or just above the age of consent in Alabama (16). This is when he was around 30.

He is accused of using force in some of these encounters, or of unrequested groping.

  16. Just to be clear, by "fake" news, I am referring to those publications that trump and the trumplings always declare as being fake.

As for the ones actually checking the facts, +Dakoit Cave, yes, there are some who are, shall we say, sloppy when it comes to checking things. But there are others who have a helluva damned good reputation for their fact checking. The Washington Post, New York Times and Mother Jones come to mind. Publications that have won many awards, nationally and international for their journalism. They aren't perfect, they make mistakes, but if they publications apologies and corrections, those are good points. Unlike such publishers as Fox News, InfoWars and Brietbart that always double down on their false claims.

And then there's the non-US publishers. Especially those publications in countries that have truth in reporting laws, like Canada. What it takes is for a person to check out the backgrounds and histories of news publishers for themselves.

And not just those that are publishing things supporting their views, but check everything across the board. Left, Right, Middle, Indie, Alt, Dark. That is the only way to get a complete picture of what is actually going on.

  17. +Sarge Misfit i agree 100%. I am Canadian, and I was above all else shocked at the news reporting in all the networks in this country. They are so America-centric that you really don’t have much international news and understand the climate of the world in an objective sense. That is a huge problem for Americans. You really need to search hard for objective news.

  18. waves a Hello to +Dakoit Cave from BC 😀

One of the things I like about Canada is our truth in reporting laws. People can trust that they are being told the truth when they read or watch Canadian news media. There's still bias, but there's no out and out lying.

  19. Oh show me the way to the next little girl
    Oh don't ask why
    Oh don't ask why
For we must find the next little girl
Cuz, if we don't find the next little girl
I tell you we must die
I tell you we must die
    I tell you
    I tell you
I tell you we must die

Oh moon of Alabama, it's time to say goodnight
We lost our dear old mama
And must have little girls or we will die
    (repeat)
